Near the river house is an orchard where you can pick your own fruit. We go just to see the goats. The kids love them! Here are a few pictures from our little visit.
The vacation spot I love the most is a little piece of river down in the Northern Neck near Pope's Creek. Wes' uncle and aunt let us use their little guest cottage on the Potomac river. It is quiet, peaceful and in the middle of nowhere. I love it and so do the kiddos. Here are some pictures from our adventure.
View from the house - isn't it great!
The kids with their friend Emma - she played with them non-stop almost the whole week. She was down here last summer too. That's all for now - more to come...
Some of these are old - all of them are old. A few are from last summer's vacation at Uncle Tom and Aunt Debbie's River House. We're going there again in a few weeks. The kids loved it and so did their mom!
This semester's co-op was all about Animal Classification. We learned about mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds and insects and spiders. It was great fun. During the co-op we also have a music class, a p.e. class and lots of other fun things.
